WaLaw Realty is Hiring! We Need a Real Estate Attorney & Broker!

March 6th, 2013 by Claire

Times are good at WaLaw Realty, which means we’ve got lots of new business and we’re searching for exceptional people to help us better serve our clients.

We are building something entirely new in the real estate industry and the response we’ve received so far has been fantastic. Now we’re ready to go to the next level and we need people who will embrace our vision and who have great enthusiasm, a willingness to work very hard, and a “No-is-not-an-option” attitude. WaLaw seeks a highly motivated, client focused attorney to help it grow.  The attorney will primarily provide legal and brokerage services to transactional clients.  The legal services include contract drafting and negotiating, reviewing title reports, working with title, escrow and mortgage companies, reviewing closing documents.  Brokerage services include occasionally showing homes and formulating market value opinions based on comparable sales.  There will be opportunity for additional real estate related matters such as drafting and reviewing easements, covenants, tenancy in common agreements, etc.

Requirements:

  • Position requires a JD, Washington bar license in good standing, and Washington real estate broker’s license (or eligibility to obtain a broker’s license).
  • Past experience in residential real estate, title, escrow, and/or mortgage lending strongly preferred.
  • We don’t do any selling but we routinely deal with sales people so sales experience is a major plus.
  • The skills required to be successful include strong negotiation and advising skills, ability to execute quick and effective decisions, superior problem solving skills, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have reliable car and insurance.

To apply for the position please forward resume, cover letter, and salary requirements to Info@WaLawRealty.com,   We’re extremely busy so no calls please.

WaLaw is HIRING!

March 23rd, 2012 by Marc

The Spring Buying Season has apparently sprung, which means we’ve got lots of new business.  Hooray!  But that means we’ve got a lot of work on our hands.  And since we keep the old adage “work to live, not live to work” in mind (it can be tough sometimes!) we could use an extra pair of helping hands.  And a SUPRA key and a driver’s license.  So if you or anyone you know is interested in being a part of the WaLaw revolution (Viva!) shoot me or Marc an email.  We’re looking for a licensed real estate agent who loves working with clients and who wants the assurances of an hourly position.  That’s right, no more “farming” so you can focus on your real job, helping our clients buy or sell a home.  We’d love to hear from you if you’re interested.  [First aptitude test: find my email address! 😉 ]

WaLaw is Hiring! We need an In-house Lead Agent and a Touring Agent

May 3rd, 2010 by Marc Holmes

Times are good at WaLaw Realty and we’re searching for exceptional agents to help us better serve our clients. We’re looking for both an experienced agent to work predominantly in-house and touring agents to assist with home tours, inspections, appraisals, etc.

We are building something entirely new in the real estate industry and the response we’ve received so far has been fantastic. Now we’re ready to go to the next level and we need people who will embrace our vision and who have great enthusiasm, a willingness to work very hard, and a “No-is-not-an-option” attitude.

Requirements:

– An active real estate license (or eligibility to re-activate promptly) and flawless record with the Department of Licensing and court system.
– Eligibility for membership in the NWMLS.
– A reliable vehicle for meeting our clients and current auto insurance.
– An upbeat attitude and sincere passion for real estate and providing superior customer service.
– Experience with online social marketing a plus.
– The In-House Agent position requires a college degree, exceptional communication skills (verbal and written), and at least 2 years of experience.
– Paralegal experience would be a big plus since you’ll be working in collaboration with our affiliated law firm, Blackmon Holmes, PLLC.

If you’re stuck in a world where 6% commissions are mandatory, don’t waste your time. We aim to do more for less and need someone who’s willing to embrace a new paradigm.

Please send resumes, cover letters, and salary/wage expectations to marc@walawrealty.com. We’re really busy so no calls please.
